Basahin sa FilipinoWhat is day trading?
Day trading means buying and selling many times a day, trying to profit from small price moves, and often closing everything by the end of the day.
9:00 Buy $1,000 of a coin 9:40 It is up 0.5%: sell for $1,005 10:15 Buy again… and repeat all day
What is holding?
Holding (sometimes "HODL") means buying and keeping it for months or years, ignoring the daily ups and downs.
January Buy $1,000 of Bitcoin Then Mostly leave it alone Next year Decide whether to sell
How much do the fees add up to?
With Tradeground’s 0.1% fee, each $1,000 trade costs $1. Trading often adds up fast.
| Style | Trades of $1,000 | Fees a month | Fees a year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day trader | 20 a day | $600 | $7,300 |
| Holder | 2 a month | $2 | $24 |
The day trader has to make over $7,000 a year just to cover fees, before making any profit.
How do they compare?

| Stress | High: every wobble matters | Lower: you look less often |
| Fees | High | Low |
